Frequently asked questions

Why choose aluminum over plastic?
Anodized aluminum provides a premium tactile experience and brand perception that positions your product alongside ZYN and Velo. It is also more durable in transit and offers superior moisture sealing compared to standard PP.
What is hard anodizing?
Hard anodizing creates a dense aluminum oxide layer (25–50 microns) that is scratch-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and dye-stable. Unlike paint or coating, it becomes part of the metal surface and will not chip or peel.
Can I get custom colors?
Yes. We offer natural, black, and custom anodize colors matched to your brand Pantone codes. Laser engraving and silk-screen printing are also available for fine-detail logos.
Is the CNC closure truly child-resistant?
Yes. The precision-machined aluminum closure is tested to the same ISO 8317 and 16 CFR 1700.20 standards as our plastic CR cans. The tighter manufacturing tolerances of CNC machining actually improve consistency in child-resistance testing.
Why is the MOQ higher for aluminum?
Aluminum CNC machining requires longer setup times and higher raw material costs. The 10,000-unit MOQ reflects the minimum efficient production batch. For pilot testing, we recommend starting with our PP CR cans and upgrading to aluminum once demand is confirmed.
What is the lead time?
Aluminum CR cans ship in 14 working days for stock colors. Custom anodize colors add 7–10 days for the dyeing process. All orders include pre-shipment samples for approval.
Can you engrave serial numbers or QR codes?
Yes. Laser engraving supports alphanumeric text, QR codes, and fine-line graphics. This is popular for anti-counterfeiting, batch traceability, and limited-edition releases.
