Product Details
A child-resistant 60ml PP snus can independently tested to ISO 8317 and 16 CFR 1700.20 standards. The three-layer closure mechanism (base + collar + lid) prevents access by children under 5 while remaining easy for adults to open. Third-party lab report shipped with every batch.

Frequently asked questions
What does CR-certified mean?
CR (Child-Resistant) certification means the packaging has been tested by an independent lab to ISO 8317 and/or 16 CFR 1700.20 standards. It must be difficult for children under 5 to open, yet accessible to adults. Every CR-certified can we ship includes the matching test report.
Do you provide CR test reports for customs clearance?
Yes. CR certification documentation is bundled with every shipment at no extra charge. Reports include lab name, test date, batch number, and conformance statement. Notarized translations for EU and UK customs are available upon request.
How does the three-layer closure work?
The closure consists of a base, collar, and lid. Opening requires a coordinated push-and-turn motion that most children under 5 cannot perform. Adults find it intuitive after one or two uses.
Can I start with non-CR and upgrade later?
Absolutely. Many brands start with standard cans for market testing, then switch to CR variants for US or EU retail expansion. Because we control mold design in-house, the upgrade path is seamless.
Which markets require CR packaging?
The United States (16 CFR 1700.20), Canada (SOR/2001-269), and the European Union (TPD Article 20) all require child-resistant packaging for nicotine-containing products. We provide conformance documentation for all three markets.
What is the lead time for CR sampling?
Stock CR can samples ship within 7–10 working days. Custom-color or custom-print CR samples take 10–14 days because they require a small pilot run. All samples include the matching CR closure.
