Solution — Format Compatibility

Snus Can Sizes — Manufactured to Common Industry Dimensions

MANKE manufactures cans in Mini, Slim, and Standard size classes commonly used by brands including ZYN, VELO, Pablo, White Fox, LOOP, KILLA, ACE, and Nordic Spirit. Dimensions are verified against customer specifications — not assumed from brand names alone. Engineering drawings provided before production.

Standard Size Classes

Most nicotine pouch brands use cans in one of three size classes. Exact dimensions vary by brand and market — we provide engineering drawings for your specific format before production.

Size Class Typical Diameter Typical Height Typical Fill Weight Common Use
Mini Ø 60–63 mm 14–17 mm 5–8 g Smaller-diameter cans for compact product lines, sampler packs, and travel tins.
Slim Ø 69–70 mm 20–22 mm 10–15 g Most common format across the nicotine pouch market. Compatible with standard filling lines.
Standard Ø 69–70 mm 23–25 mm 14–20 g Larger capacity for multi-serve formats and higher pouch counts.
Dimensions shown are typical ranges. Exact tolerances provided with engineering drawings. Typical fill weight depends on pouch dimensions, moisture content, and product formulation — not a fixed specification.

Compatible with Leading Brands

MANKE manufactures cans commonly used by these nicotine pouch brands. Dimensions are verified against customer specifications rather than assumed from brand names alone — because brands may use different sizes across product lines and markets. Engineering drawings are provided for every order to confirm compatibility.

Compatibility Verification Process

Three steps to verify your filling equipment, target format, and production goals before ordering.

01. Share Your Requirements

Tell us your target size class (Mini, Slim, or Standard), filling equipment model, and desired closure type. We identify the can configuration that fits your equipment specifications.

02. Review Engineering Drawings

Receive free PDF + STEP dimensional drawings. Verify fit on your filling line or share with your equipment supplier before committing to production.

03. Test Physical Samples

Order 200–300 sample pieces per variant to test filling-line compatibility, closure torque, and shelf appeal before committing to a full production run.

Compatibility Assessment

Send us your filling equipment model and we will provide a compatibility assessment — usually within one business day. If your format requires non-standard dimensions, we can design a custom mold with competitive tooling costs. No markup for non-standard sizes.

What can dimensions do you manufacture?
MANKE manufactures cans in three size classes commonly used across the nicotine pouch industry: Mini (Ø 60–63 × 14–17 mm), Slim (Ø 69–70 × 20–22 mm), and Standard (Ø 69–70 × 23–25 mm). Slim is the most common format across the nicotine pouch market and is compatible with standard filling lines. Engineering drawings with exact tolerances are provided before production so you can verify compatibility with your specific equipment.
Are your cans compatible with ZYN, VELO, and Pablo?
We manufacture cans matching the dimensions commonly used by ZYN, VELO, Pablo, White Fox, LOOP, KILLA, and ACE product lines. Because dimensions may vary by market and product generation — even within the same brand — engineering drawings are always provided for verification before production, rather than relying on a generic brand-to-size claim.
Do you offer child-resistant versions?
MANKE offers push-and-turn closures in child-resistant configurations designed for ISO 8317 and 16 CFR 1700.20 compliance testing. CR closures are available across Slim and Standard size classes. Because CR certification is product-specific — the combination of can body, closure, and filling configuration determines the final test outcome — we provide third-party test reports with every CR order and can coordinate testing for your specific product.
How do I confirm my equipment will work with your cans?
We provide free dimensional drawings (PDF + STEP files) for your selected size class. Download the drawings and verify fit on your filling line, or send us your equipment model and we will provide a compatibility assessment — usually within one business day.
What if my brand uses a non-standard size?
If your product requires a diameter or height outside our standard size classes, we can design a custom mold to match. Custom mold lead time is typically 4–6 weeks. The mold remains your property.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Stock unprinted cans start at 5,000 units. Custom-printed orders start at 10,000 units per SKU. Mixed-size orders are accepted if the total reaches 10,000 units and each size meets its individual minimum. Sample orders of 200–300 pieces per variant are always available for line testing before committing to a production run.
Can I customize the lid color and branding?
Yes. Custom Pantone color matching, IML, screen printing, foil stamping, and laser engraving are available across all size classes. Custom-printed cans start at 10,000 units with a 7–10 day sample lead time.
